Welcome to Tima

We weave the web that helps disparate but

aligned peoples and efforts connect and collaborate.

“Tima,” in Hatxa Kuin (the language of the Huni Kuin peoples of Amazonia), means “to weave.” Connecting the right projects to people who are looking to access them is what we do, by weaving partnerships, helping to identify nodes of ideal matches, and formulating these into new, innovative forms of collaboration.

We work with individuals, foundations, NGOs, government agencies, philanthropists, corporations, investors, artists, Indigenous and local communities, scientists, and more.

We provide direct access to communities and initiatives that would otherwise be difficult for respective partners to reach. We work in service of mediating, inspiring, translating, and connecting meaningful projects with relevant peoples.

Our unique inter-sector and cross-cultural approach fills a niche that works in service of both funders and partners.

What collaborators and clients are saying

“Tima fills one of the crucial needs in local-global work, connecting communities who need solidarity and support while being able to express their own agency, with those who have the capacities and resources to provide this in respectful ways.”
- Ashish Kothari, Founder, Global Tapestry of Alternatives
